What is IBIT?
The students from Ganitlay platform are further directed to this IBIT platform. This IBIT platform is a platform for boosting and replenishing your imagination and ideas so that the end product is useful to the society. The student can be from any faculty. The ideas put forth by the student will be checked for its feasibility and relatively worked upon. This is an interactive platform between the students, their parents and the mentors. Basically IBIT stands for Ideate, Build, Innovate and Transform, where the students can share their scientific ideas, discuss with the mentors and interact with the teachers and mentors. Basically this will help the students to nurture and incubate their ideas for the welfare of the society. Once the idea is final, Building of the idea will be initiated, that will be followed by the Innovation of the idea in terms of making of prototype and finally Transform the idea into a usable product for the society. .
We believe that if you start thinking you get the solutions to all the things. Thus making the young India think and with their thinking make them successful enterpreneurs. In this case now ideation is very important. This ideation will lead to gathering information and thus try to quench the thirst of a particular thought. This process will not stop here but building of the idea will initiate. To nourish this idea the student can interact with the mentors, teachers and parents on the IBIT platform. Then the next step is to transform the idea into a prototype by making some innovations. This may include some easy techniques of synthesis, use of different chemicals for the synthesis or the person may land up with a different thought. If this process initiates in the earlier childhood stage, this will help in changing the mindset of the student. This help to make young entrepreneurs in various fields. IBIT does not restrict to a particular field as we know that there is science and maths in every field. This will help in the upliftment of the student and the society as a whole.
Apart from this there are some innovations that are stuck and one does not understand the path to make it to completion. This is possible if there is interaction among the mentors regarding the stuck issue. Thus one can get an idea how the project can be incubated. If required there can be certain tie-ups with the laboratories. The company and along with the laboratories and University do sign a Non disclosure agreement. Thus the ideas that are floated on this platform will not be disclosed by the company, nor the laboratory and nor by the University.
According to Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) India Report 2016-17, prepared by Gandhinagar-based Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) and its associates, that was conducted by has found that around 11% of adult population in India is engaged in "early-stage entrepreneurial activities", and only 5% of the country's people go further to establish their own business. This – 5% -- is among the lowest rates in the world, while the business discontinuation rate in India is among the highest at 26.4 %, it says.
The survey was conducted among 3,400 respondents aged between 18 and 64 years to assess the level of entrepreneurial activity. According to the Entrepreneurship presents an important aspect of the current economic model, especially in post-industrial economies where the “knowledge economy” and platform-driven companies, often rely on specific inventions or “disruptions,” have captured large shares of the market.
Entrepreneurship stands important because it is capable of improving living standards and creating capital. This is true, not only for entrepreneurs but also for related companies. Businessmen also help drive change with entrepreneurship, where new and improved products allow the growth of new markets. The scope of Entrepreneurship development in India is tremendous. The rising unemployment rate in India has resulted in growing frustration among youth. In addition there is always problem of underemployment. As a result, increasing the entrepreneurial activities in the country is the only solace. There are many problems like finance, lack of planning, hiring the right talent, effective marketing within a limited budget, self doubt and uncertainty, dealing with criticism, making decisions etc.. that are faced by the entrepreneurs in India.
The current policy and public debate on the overall topic of 'entrepreneurship' pays little attention to more specific or emerging forms of entrepreneurship such as one-person enterprises and self-employment, part-time entrepreneurs, parallel and serial entrepreneurs, and business transfer and successions. Most entrepreneurs are ‘givers.’ They have struggled and worked hard to attain success, and hence, try to make the life of others easier.
To summarize, the investors' expectations from an entrepreneur include strong efforts, commitment, concern about their investment and the necessary passion to defend projects from unforeseen circumstances and unexpected situations, having the capacity to reach demands and face problems when they arise. Thus to bring about a change we are more focussed on changing the mindset of students so that they can become entrepreneurs in future.
The use of scientific writing is to make the people aware of the scientific research findings. The scientific writings that are simple, clear and understandable can be communicated to the people. The knowledge seems to be lost if not written on paper. To have a world wide effective duplication the scientific information needs to be circulated world wide. Thus there is a need of the scientific writings and putting your ideas on paper.
